A Message From Swim N.S:
I’m excited to share that we have 50 eager swimmers ready to take on this exciting journey to Brunswick, Maine in March, with another 12 swimmers on our waiting list. This is shaping up to be an incredible experience for all swimmers involved once again!
If, for any reason, your swimmer is no longer able to attend, please let me know as soon as possible so we can notify those on the waiting list. If we are able to fill your swimmer’s spot, a reimbursement will be issued. However, if we are unable to do so, the fee will remain non-refundable as previously outlined in the original athlete letter.
We’re also excited to welcome back some familiar faces from last year’s tour! Their experience and enthusiasm will be helpful in supporting our first-time participants, ensuring this tour is a memorable and fun experience for all.
Below, you’ll find some important updates and reminders. Please take the time to read through this email carefully, as it contains key details and upcoming deadlines. I will continue to share additional information as our departure date approaches.
Looking forward to an amazing tour ahead!

- Please be sure that you review the letter that was circulated with the application forms to familiarize yourself with Swim Nova Scotia Provincial Teams, such as the use of cell phones and parents staying at a different hotel. This year, we will be staying at the Hampton Inn, Freeport. Swimmers should be prepared and willing to expand their independence and to help build a cohesive Provincial team.
- You can also review the helpful information document if this is your first time traveling with Swim NS to help you and your swimmer be better prepared.
- You will receive additional emails later this month with reminders of the March 3rd deadline, details on what items to bring (including how much money), and any other additional information received, included details on what to bring and a revised itinerary. Stay tuned!
