AA Winter Championships

Please see attached the meet package, session report, psych sheet, and entries for the upcoming AA Winter Champs meet at the Acadia Sports Complex from Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 02.

Session 1 (Friday AM) -- Please wear your WHITE team shirt

• Arrival for 12u girls & 13u boys @ 7:30 AM
• Warm up for 12u girls & 13u boys @ 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
• Arrival for 13o girls & 14o boys @ 8:00 AM

Session Notes

• Restrictions:
  • Spectators must remain in designated areas. 
  • The gym is closed to swimmers.
• Etiquette:
  • Unless on the pool deck, swimmers are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear in the facility.
  • The wings of the pool will be available for continuous warm-up and warm-down -- swimmers are not allowed to play in the pool.
  • Swimmers must check in with a coach before leaving the pool deck for any reason.
• Finals/Awards
  • Meet Mobile will be used, however, due to unstable internet connection, the results may not be pushed through immediately. Hard copies of results will be posted shortly after each event is finished. 
  • If a swimmer does not plan to return for finals, they must let their lead coach know before the end of the prelim session.
  • All swimmers will be considered for relays, unless they are not returning for finals.
  • There is a team spirit award -- bring your best cheering and Trojan spirit to every session!

What to Bring

• Swimsuit
• Trojan Cap (and spares if available) -- coaches will have spares available for purchase upon request.
• Goggles (and spares if available)
• Towel(s)
• White and Black Trojan Shirt (and/or other team apparel)
• Water Bottle
• Snacks

Expectations

• Values: Trojans are expected to demonstrate our three core values on and off the deck. Swimmers who fail to follow these values may be removed from the swim meet at the Head Coach's discretion.
  • Respect - Trojan's will show respect for the facility, teammates, staff, competitors, volunteers & officials, self, and all others.
  • Support - Trojan's will work to help, uplift, and motivate each other in the capacities that we are able to.
  • Compete - Trojan's will give our best effort in and out of the pool
• Garbage: All garbage will be put in the designated garbage cans/bags. No mess will be left on deck.
• Cheering: Swimmers will gather on deck for the team cheer at the designated time (please review the attached Cheer Card). and HTAC swimmers will cheer on all HTAC swimmers in the water.
• Phones: Phone's are to be kept in swim bags unless swimmers are contacting their family, or listening to music. Swimmers using their phones on deck for other reasons will be asked to put their phones away.
